What inoputs has your pc got? Do you have a video capture card? What sort of outputs does your VCR have?

If the computer has a video input then it will either be phono or SVHS.
Most cards do not have this facility. For basic analogue to computer there are a few basic jobs around. If someone has gone digital you might pick up and old one for a song. ATI All In Wonder Pro is a good all rounder with a load of features.

any books or any hting i can read abou this stuff?cuz im goignt o shoot my frist vid and like ot edit my self plus looking to get a better pc and maybe a vcr if i need to.
